anyone know where to find these parts either new or used?
Tried hawks, fbodymotorsports, and ebay and google search already, and local junkyards.
Looking for parts for my t-5 swap
Lower shifter boot-the one that mounts on floor pan under console
Clutch resouvoir bracket
V-8 T-5 Dust cover between engine and trans.
breather tube that runs on top of t-5 trans
Thanks for any info.

i'll look at thirdgen ranch, i've looked around on cl some too, hawks has bracket for 25 bucks which i may buy, but they won't separate any of the other parts for there 5-speed swap kits.
there is a metal or plastic piece that mounts on end of trans or end of bellhousing, i've seen one called a dust cover for T-5 but for a V6 on ebay.
The breather tube thing(I think) is a small diameter tube that runs from top of transmission, is this necessary or can i rig something up?
I will keep looking, persistance does pay off-I was prepared to drive 7 hours to pickup a ratty 89 camaro v8 5-speed and pay 1300 (price he told me) from a guy on CL, frustrating when you tell him you have cash in hand ready to buy it and doesn't return your call, whatever. But i ended up finding a mostly complete WC T-5 swap about an hour away for much much less.

Re: anyone know where to find these parts either new or used?
Wow, thanks for the diagram!!! I've got a lower shifter boot coming from another member on here, so that should take care of that.
I thought you could probably just mount that resouviour upright on firewall or something, but I might as well have it look right, and I can get one from hawks if need be.
So the V6, T56 & T-5 dust covers are all the same huh? well that will broaden the search base then.......shoulda bought that V6 one on ebay then.
The breather tube is completely off of my trans, it was broke off basically flush with the transmission case. So i could just rig up some type of breather tube then? Leave it how it is? I really don't plan on fording rivers with it haha.

Id suggest rigging up a tube deal, id say leave it open but if its broken flush you could have water and or dirt seeping in, any way to post a pic of how bad it is? I've got a tube with a check valve on mine, nothing spectaacular but it does the job in venting the thing while keeping water out

Yeah they're the same, our local track used to vdonate blown t5's to my college and I spent a few days frankenstiening them together to make good trannies, there's slight differences but the vent is the same, if its still got a nub on it I wouldn't worry, but if not id look into it

I have an extra reservoir bracket. PM me if interested. It is #15 in that diagram.

Drew, that tube is tempting, I'll see if I can't figure something out on it, if I can't, maybe I'll pay you to take it off mustang trans and send to me.
Glad I posted this thread on here, I already have the bracket and lower shifter boot being sent after not being able to find them anywhere, it seems like this is the best place to find parts!

Id take it but I'm already tripping over a t56 lol you could part it out possibly? There's not a huge demand for internals but I've seen people in need of the case and tailshaft, and here the bellhousing/vent
