turbo 350 not shifting as hard as used too

I have a turbo 350 and before I took out the engine for some repairs it used to shift nice and firm hard shifts ( trans-go shift kit) it would shift so hard it would knock my foot back off the gas pedal!!! in 1-2 and 2-3. I put a stall converter in before I put the motor in also, now the trans does not seem to shift as hard as it did before the stall and motor repair. Does anybody have any ideas why or have had this problem? Any help is appreciated.

Why would the stall affect it? How do I get them neck snapping shifts back like I had before?

Also, how about a full manual valve-body, do they have a nice firm hard shift? What about the vacuum modulator, wheres the best place to connect it to vacuum, under the carb on passenger side? Basically I'm looking to get them nice hard shifts back?

you cant...

the stall deintensifies the "bang" shifting that normally occurs with a stock converter

its the nature of the beast..stall converters have more slip/give to them, which in a way softens the shift's.

Honestly, i wouldnt worry about it.
