Identify this flywheel?

Got this from another member, surfaced, definitely lighter than stock, now ive been told its a fidanza but when i look up their products i cant find one thats similar, maybe someone can tell me what it is exactly, i noticed the plate on the rear of the flywheel, im assuming this is for balancing?

TIA!!!

Re: Identify this flywheel?

Maybe for a small block 400? I have a friend, who ran a standard trany behind the 400 but did not look at the flywheel.

Re: Identify this flywheel?

what is offset about the ring gear?

It's pretty obviously an LT1 T56 style flywheel.
Balance is probably for either a 454 bb, 400 sb, or 86+ sb.

Re: Identify this flywheel?

I wasn't sure if all the lt's were like that or if it was the design, I meant the spaces between the face and ring, I'm sure its for an 86+ sbc, but I was wondering if there was an identifable number in a common spot

Re: Identify this flywheel?

T56 F-body LT1 is deep depth because the clutch disc sprung hub is towards the engine. The depth keeps it away from the flywheel bolts.

The ring gear is still the same distance from the crank face.

I know a Spec flywheel for 2pc seal 85-down engines has a # on it, but I'm not familiar with yours.
