sparks jumping from tranny dipstick
Happens when I get to about 1/8 throttle and I can hear an audible clicking sound, quite frequent until I get off the gas or go past it. The sparks will also jump if I remove the dipstick and make contact with the tube while I'm putting it back in, not too sure what's going on here...

Sounds like a bad plug wire that's 'leaking' and arcing on dipstick - presumably #8 plug wire.

Check your ground straps to make sure they are all there and in good shape.
I had this issue on a car with bad grounds...so the tranny dipstick happened to be completing the circuit
