4L60E No 1st or 4th Gear
I just swaped in a 1996 Camaro Lt1 and Tranny with 60,000 miles into my 1987 Iroc.
I used the painless wireing harness and everything seamed to be good until I started testing the gears.
It doesn't manually go in 1st gear and while driving it dosen't go into 4th until i take my foot off the gas then when I apply the gas its right back to 3rd gear.

probably a ecm problem. pretty common. see what kind of codes you got

Codes
1. TPS Sensor
2. Water temp sensor low siginal
3. ECM error
4. Transmission Shift Board
I am thinking I might not have a good ground to the ECM. Could this cause the problem?
