MY 700r4 Problem
This is my first post
i am a proud owner of a 1987 firebird trans am w/ 305 TPI and a 700r4 trans.
The problem i am having? FROM A DEAD STOP if i hit the gas the car goes like hell but wont shift until i let off the gas. In other words i could send the rpms through the roof. It also stalls if i take a turn too fast. any help would be great i am new to these cars and need help. thank you

Have you adjusted the TV cable properly?
What happens when you are cruising at say 35mph, and the get on it (not quite WOT) - it should downshift, but as the speed increases will it upshift again?
Like - if cruising in 4th, you gun it, drops to 3rd, accellerates, then does it shift back up into 4th without issue?
What happens when you are acellerating pretty rapidly (again, not nailed WOT, but just rapidly) - does it shift into gears then as it should?
