He's been doing 700-R4s for many years and has made many modifications of his own to make shift kits such as the TransGo better.

Contact Dana and he'll be able to troubleshoot it for you. What is the transmission doing that you think it needs a rebuild?

Absolutely.
The opening thread title asked for best, and Dana sells hand picked "best" parts.
There is alot of chinese crap parts on ebay that look quite good, and are much less expensive.
They are not good, and some are junk.
Transstar is another company that sells quality stock overhaul parts, but they do not typically sell direct.

nothing worse than dropping a tranny, rebuilding it, slapping in a new T/c, 12 quarts of fluid just to have it crap out on day one
but, you save a whopping $200 and the pleasure of doing it all over again
