T5 tailshaft

I know the 4th gen has a funky bolt pattern on the T5, but the tail shaft is 'straight up' vs a thirdgen if I recall.

Do you guys happen to know off hand if the straight tailshaft on a 4th gen T5 would bolt to a world class T5 out of a third gen?

For a lot of non thirdgen applications, the rotated tail shaft makes life tough.

Re: T5 tailshaft

It's trans. mount pad is tilted too. Look at eBay #130248551643.
They use the same (tilted/bent style) shifters as 83-92 as well.

I don't know the T5 as well as I do the T56.
A NWC T5 can take a NWC S10 tailhousing but I don't know how the WC units work together.
