5speed replace
I have 1983 Z28 with 305 HO and 5speed my trans was run dry so i need to put a trany in it what other trany from what years will fit

83-92 F-body V8
6-cyl won't work.
Stick with one from L69 or LB9; avoid LG4 or TBI ones.
Consider a T-56 swap instead.
