grinding noise from torque converter area?

Okay well my car started making this noise that i thought was the exhaust.

It sounds kinda like when a starter is misaligned and grinds against the flex plate.

Except that its constant and very audible if i take off too hard. Its a clicking/clanking noise.

Me and some friends were able to pinpoint it to the torque converter area. The flex isnt hitting the starter or anythijg like that and it seems secured.

If i drive normal the noise is hardly audiible but if i take off too hard it sounds pretty bad, its also most noticeable in reverse for some reason.

Anybody have any ideas?

Im thinking either that or loose flexplate bolts.

would i be able to reach in there to tighten bolts without dropping tranny??

converter bolts you would. Flexplate bolts you can also but its tough. I have a wrench from a GM tech just for the flexplate bolts. Its long and "FLAT" to get in between the converter and flexplate when the converter bolts are off.
