Best choice is to simply buy the pre-filled, pre-bled assy at the GM store and move on. In, done, out, down the road.

I'm going to go with Post # 3 For-The-Win.
When you get all the details wrapped up and can drive the car with zero hydraulic problems, it's a lot better than having to bleed used parts, hope that your line extension doesn't leak etc. etc.

Re: T-5 master cylinder on T-56 tranny
Ok read post 3. Most of this stuff is new to me. I looked at a picture of the gm clutch master cylinder assembly. Then I looked at picture of the diamond clutch kit and having trouble seeing how stock kit integrates with it. Does the hose plug directly to the slave cylinder. Are these two compatible. It's for an ls3 t56 combo going in to my 91 Camaro.

The OP picked up an LT1 T56 with remove slave cylinder that attached to the outside of the bellhousing on 2 studs with a spacer.
You're dealing with the concentric slave cylinder which mounts around the maindrive input to the front adapter plate. This has a quick disconnect fitting.
The 2 master cylinders are basically the same. The rest differs.

Yes. The end of the line attached to the master cylinder has a yellow storage seal over it. That male end fits into the anodized female fitting of the slave cylinder pictured.
