Hey guys so i bought a 89 camaro with a 2.8L v6 5speed
and the shifter bounces, violently when shifting hits the tunnel sometimes

i looked at the mount and its shot
i took it off and its the stupid hydraulic filled ones that cost a fortune!!!


i know of the cross member swap and all that but im wondering if it matters where i get it from can it be off of any old third gen regardless of the year and tranny or does it have to be from another 5 speed?

because im scared that if i buy a cross member and mount it wont line up or something stupid like that
