whats the most power anyone has gotten out of a wc t5?
Tryin to figure out how much power has been put to a world class t5. Any inputs, post them!

I have heard people going through them with stock L98s and others saying its holding up fine. You won't get much response since most likely people that put anything good in front of it probably already swapped it out for a T56.

How many times? Once? for a month? 15 years?
Driving it how? like your grandma's preacher? spiritedly on the street once in a while? all-out heads-up racing at the strip with sticky tires?
I kept one alive behind a 400 for about 4 years, by NOT dumping the clutch and NOT speed-shifting, EVER. Wasn't a whole lot of fun; that's sort of ... not what I put a 400 in the car on the first place for. THen I swapped to a T-56.

There are companies who rebuild them and supposedly can handle 600hp, at least that's what's advertised. G-Force transmission is the one I know about.

The reason I ask is because I'm dropping a 383 in my car and I want to drive it while I save the money for a t56.

119-120 mph at the track for a couple seasons. this is friday night king of the hill, and sunday points day. Car weighed 3640 lbs with driver. I don't know what that translates to for power.
