have a 1973 mustang i put new motormounts in. The engine fan now hits the shroud. called the store where i bought them to see if there are different mounts, they say the only question the book asks is if its a coupe or convertible. my question is are these mounts diferent?

There are a lot of sites where you can look up parts by application and tell if they're different part numbers at least.
And your auto parts professional could answer that question for you by looking up the convertible too.

You need to take a rage dump man, the only person here being disrespectful is you. You need to calm down, you are making yourself look like an *******.
Anyway, you installed new motor mounts. I assume these had rubber inserts. These parts sag overtime, lowering the engine and changing the driveline angle. The new mounts raised the engine and again changed the driveline angle, possibly causing this rubbing issue. Have you changed the trans mount? If you have not, I would try that and see if by raising the back of the trans a little with.a new mount, this issue goes away.
