All you have to do to make a transmission endure x # of HP, is figure out what tears up, and strengthen it. Which might take the form of hardened parts here, more clutches there, control system changes somewhere else, bracing something in the case, or any number of other upgrades.
Run it til it breaks; find what broke; make it better; run it til the next thing breaks; find it; make it better; repeat until goal is achieved.
If they were successful in accomplishing that, then there's no reason it COULDN'T handle that much power.
That said, I personally will wait for somebody else to plunk down their money first (lots of somebody elses really), before I bite off on it.

I have been waiting for the gear changing 6pinion planets for awhile now.
Also with that many 3-4 clutches added, that should help.
I would buy the parts and have my friend slap it together..

For almost 5k I'm sure I can do a 4L80E for less or the 6spd auto even a Viper t56. I love my 700R4 but not for 5k

I know a guy who has it on his FX150 Ranger -- he loves it. I don't know what he's got under the hood, but if it works, it works. He goes to Johnny Winters here in Florida for all his race transmissions, can't think that he wouldn't know what he was getting himself in for before buying a Raptor.
