Drive shaft replacement
What do I have to do to remove my drive shaft and put in my aluminum LS1 drive shaft? Ive never messed with a drive shaft in my life.

Re: Drive shaft replacement
unbolt x 4 at the differential pinion yoke
gently leverage the u-joint away from that yoke; hang onto the u-joint cups
pull it out of the trans; hopefully you raised the rear of the car vs. the front or bought a plug
Install is the reverse of that.

Re: Drive shaft replacement
Just them x4 bolts and the driveshaft will slip out?? that seems very simple, If I wanted to put new U-joints in my used drive shaft could I use a regular C-Clamp to pop the caps off and on?
