Where to get 9 bolt axles?

I did search, i read about 20 threads and didn't find anything. I have a 9 bolt rear out of an 89 1LE car. One of the axles is bent. We can find 28 spline axles but they are all c-clip, and the 9 bolts are press in. Any one have any CURRENT info on where to find 28 spline, press in axles for our cars? I wanted moser, but at this point, i'd take almost anything, this is not a super high HP car. But who'd have thought press in axles would be so hard to find?
Thanks!

Probably need to get custom axles. I'd start with Dutchman, if they're still in business. Probably cheaper to start your own 8.8" Ford swap.

Moser will make you a set, and they probably have the info and setup ready to go to do it. I can't imagine it would be any mroe expensive than any other of their custom-built axles.

Not Moser. No customer service. Dutchman was worlds better to me, so I used them again for my 10.21-second '88 IROC-Z. Price is comparable, so why be just another number in a computer?

well - as it turns out..... in addition to a bent axle, whoever put this rear-end together, put the bearings in BACKWARDS! pressed ;em in wrong on both ends! No wonder this poor thing has been vibrating..... BTW, i found spare axles on ebay - the seller guaranteed them straight, and they look good. Hopefully when we get it on the road, she'll be smooth and straight again!

The ford 8.8 is something I'm looking into FWIW....

...anyhow, if I'm not mistaken, any 9 bolt axles will do. I know around here, there are plenty of 2.77 and non posi units floatin around. ...just gotta keep checkin craigslist, and other boards etc. etc.

i have no idea. takes talent to get tapered roller bearings in backwards! I guess they just took that big ole press and squashed 'em in! I'm just SO glad it didn't destroy the posi!
