I like Pro 5.0 shifters on the T5 myself. You will get a ton of answers but its all about what you like/want and how it feels to you.

Re: best short throw for a irock

I would also recommend the Pro 5.0 shifter. I love the feel and how well it shifts over the stock unit. I haven't tried any other brands of short throw shifters. But from what I read the Pro 5.0 is the most popular.

I like my Pro 5.0 while my T5 lasted. I lost 3rd and 4th on a 2-3 powershift. I think I broke a fork.

Re: best short throw for a irock

I have a steeda tri-ax shifter on mine, and it quite nice. It is for a ford t5, so some work is needed to fit it. Pro5.0 seems to be the favorite here

Another glowing recommendation for Steeda's Tri-Ax. You can do no better.

I've never driven a shifter I liked better than my Hurst Comp Plus.

Nope. Don't have a T5 currently.

How different is the Steeda 555-7363 from the f-body T56 bolt pattern? It kinda looks do-able.
