Right now using 4.11 gear 26 in tire
Car doesnt like running below 2200 at all due to the cam

In 5th I cruise about 2500ish which puts me about 63mph
As it is now cruising in 6th forget it car bucks (figured it would) ...went up 10 deg larger on the cam now it hates it lol.
Anything above 2200 is tolerable if I cruise at 65-75 fine


Looking for a 6th gear cluster which isnt as tall as the .50 ratio
Plan on keeping rear gear/tire the way it is

Keisler, anything else out there?

If I could get it to drop just a few hun tops that would be perfect.

make a nice winter project being as the tailshaft bushing is aging some

Perfect. I cannot do it right this minute but am serious about doing this....spent a little too much on the exhaust last week.
Want to cruise 70+ without taching 5th out too bad. Even 2500 ish is good motor likes it there and up anyway
