Engine: 355 TPI
Transmission: Probuilt Street/Strip 700r4
Axle/Gears: 7.625 axle with 3.23 gears/TrueTrac
Factory Speedometer gear question
Anyone know which tooth count and color the driven and drive gears were on a factory 3.23 car? I know a lot of you have done gear swaps and have moved up in ratio, and if possible I'm hoping someone still has these gears.

The gears would be different, of course, for a T-5.

Depends on tire size. For 245/50R16 use 15:38, for 215/65R15, or the rare 235/60R15 option, use 18:45

It seems the closest I can find to that is 15:37, I can't find a 38 driven gear for a VSS anywhere.

If you'd check my sticky about 700R-4 speedo gears, you'd see the GM part number is 25513045. GMPartsDirect.com has it for under $5.

I've gone down that route, it seems that shipping and handling is $400. I'll call them but it seems unlikely they will have that in stock.
