Which pedals for T5?
Is it easiest and best to use pedals from a V8 thirdgen, or am I fine using V6 pedals(3rd or 4th gen) or lt1 or ls1 pedals?
Im swapping from a 700r4 to a T5. The local junk yard has some stick 3.4l and 3.8l 4th gens I could get the pedals from. Or I could ebay some other pedals if those dont work, or dont work easily.
Also are the gas pedals the same? Can i reuse my stock gas pedal with the stick clutch and brake pedal? Ive seen some for sale without the gas pedal and was just wondering, thanks!

i think you can use the 4th gen pedals with a little work, but any 3rd gen pedal setup will bolt in. but i'd stay away from an 82 as a donor car since they had an old school mechanical clutch linkage with a Z bar and the later hydraulic stuff is just better.

The easiest pedals to use would be V6 or V8 3rd gen pedals. These do not have the gas pedal attached. You can make 4th gen pedals work but the clutch master linkage is different and will require a bit of modding. With these the gas pedal is attached and should be cut off and used with your original gas pedal. You will have to elongate some of the master cylinder holes and make a new hole for the top bolt also.
As mentioned above be sure the pedals are for a hydraulic clutch.
