Car: 1984 camaro
Engine: 305 v8
Transmission: auto 4 speed
when i press on the gas

i have an 84 with an auto trans and when i press on the gas it goes fine but when it gets into 2nd gear i loose traction for a second and it peels out i was wondering if it was going out or something

Mine does too, but its because I have a shift kit installed

(aka, I want it like that)

I dont actually lose traction except when it "barks" second

Yeah that sounds like something that people would normally brag about haha. But are you sure you are actually loosing traction? is your trans possibly slipping? have you checked your fluid level? what do your rear tires look like?

the fluids good the tires are 2yrs old and still like new its hard to explain but even when i dont press hard on the gas and it switches gears it lik jumps gear if that makes sence
