Fastest 10 bolt ET?
Just curious how far you guys have pushed your mostly stock 10 bolt before they broke?
1/4 mile time and 60 ft.

Thats pretty good. Anything done to the rearend? Mine is running mid 12's and 1.8 60' and i was just trying to get an idea of how far they can be pushed. I plan on putting a 3500 stall in this winter, so hopefully it can hold up

Re: Fastest 10 bolt ET?
I ran 11.71 @120 mph with a 1.82 60 foot (lots of spin) on 255/50/16 Mickey Thompson drag radials.
I have the stock LSD with the stock 3:42 gears and a diff cover from summit , S&W Race cars subframe connectors, torque arm , lower control arms, KYB AGX shocks all around.
I ran off the foot brake stalling at 2200 rpm pedaling it. Motor is pretty stout though, it's a canfield aluminum headed solid roller 406 on c16 race fuel mated to a quality converter brand 3000 stall and RMVB TH400. Full original contour interior without any weight reduction inside except removal of a/c stuff. Still going to remove all seats and rear panels, seatbelts and all and drop in a couple kirkeys with an 8 point cage.
Has a Harwood 6 inch lift off cowl and aluminum radiator. Going to remove front sway

Re: Fastest 10 bolt ET?
I did about 6 passes ranging from 11.0039 to 11.2.
Best 60ft was a 1.52( lifting the drivers tire).
All I had in the diff was welded axle tubes and a diff girdle with stock axles and 3.73 gears.
That was with a 7004r and et streets

Re: Fastest 10 bolt ET?
I pushed a beefed up 10 bolt into the high 10's but swapped it out for a 9" before I had the chance to break it.

Re: Fastest 10 bolt ET?
I think I'm going to do the welded axle tubes, 4:10 gears and 275/60/15 radials, trick springs, set my KYB AGX's to 1 in front and 7 in the rear, remove as much weig ht as possible and get some cragar street stars runners up front and some 15x10 alumastars with a 6 inch back space in the back with screws. Also need to put some mufflers on .Hope to cut 1.5X 60's and run a low 11 or a high ten. That's with just a single kirkey and put the battery out back too.
