Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 2.73
How to tell if my trans has a shift kit
I have 700R4 is there a way to tell if its has a shift kit how? It shifts firm but that might just because the tv cable is tight

You can check line pressure. Remove the 1/8 npt plug on the driver's side of the case. Compare your readings with oem readings. How is your full throttle 2-3 shift? That is a difficult shift to make firm without modification.

You can also try holding it in a lower gear and see if it shifts up ,the better shift kits allow gear holding ( til the engine blows up )
Stock it will shift up at a certain point regardless of where the shifter is and then drop back when the throttle is released
