I have an 86 Camaro with the 700r4. I was having issues with the car shifting from 1st to 2nd and late shifting through all other gears when tranny was cold. When warm it shifted just fine.

Replaced fluid and filter, checked levels. My issue was the kick down cable connected to the throttle body for the tranny. I adjusted the tv cable using the guide http://www.jakesperformance.com/TV_C...etup_Info.html. Shifts great now cold or hot.

Just posting this in case anyone has the same issue.
