is this setup worth $450?
I'm talking to a guy on craigslist who is selling a 94 Camaro rear end that originally had 3.08 posi gears in it. Well he also has a new Detroit locker and a new girdle for it, thing is that he said the guy who had it before him installed a set of 3.73 motive posi gears. He's wanting $450 for everything or $150 for the axle its self, is this worth it?

A Detroit Locker, if it actually us a Detroit Locker, is over $500, maybe $600. Be sure that it is a Detroit Lokcer before giving him any money. If the gears were set up correctly then the rear end is worth the money. If the gears were not set up correctly then plan on installing a new set of gears. If you mean a T/A Performance cover when you say girdle then they are about $170.

Well im getting the rear, dont forsee me having the extra for the locker and girdle. But this is a street car so they arent really needed for street use. Think the rear end will though. Im paying $150 for it when I get paid. Just going to verify its a posi before I pay a dime. A fourth gen drum rear will bolt in and fit correctly right? No brake line altering? Its a 94 posi diff with 3.08 gears but it has had 3.73 motive gears installed

The '94 is going to have the Auburn differential in it. This is not a very good differential. They wear out and they are not rebuildable. Just scrap metal at that point. If this has been run hard then it probably is worn out. Maybe the rest of the rear end is worth the $150, but I wouldn't give $5 for a used Auburn.
