So Im buying back a car I sold to a friend a couple years back 92 Z-28. Primarily because it has a descent 9" setup in it. Looking at the photos and realized it has no rear sway bar. its not a big deal as I will just swap the one out on my car now if need be. My question is to someone who has a greater knowledge in suspension than myself, is there a reason for the lack of the sway bar? this car has been driving around at what seems perfectly fine for at least 7 years now so why could/would this be. What would be the motive to remove this? Thanks guys

 

Maybe the attachment to the axle tubes wasn't possible without extra work and they forgot about it. Or....
But anyway I'm pretty sure they had no problems with snap-oversteer.

Thanks. Helps explain it a little. That's actually exactly how this one is set up with the panhard as well as LCAs. Suppose when it gets here Ill have to take it out and see if I prefer it to the setup in my 91 before I swap it all out.
