I did a little research on this several years back, I don't remember exactly what I found out but the short answer is no. It won't work with the 3rd gen bellhousing because of input shaft length (and it sits straight up and down, not tilted 17 degrees). I also think the overall length of the transmission is wrong. And I believe the 3800 bellhousing pattern is different than the V8 or 60 degreee V6 chevys.

This car has the 2.8 v6.I found a 4 speed stick out of a 82 camaro has bell housing and such. I think someone on here said the guts to the 94 would work.But I'm not sure.I'll have to check my history posts,Thanks
