Engine: 406 Super rammed SBC, LT1 355
Transmission: 4l60E, 700R4
Axle/Gears: disc brake 3.27 9 bolt posi,10 bolt
700r4 question

When i get on my car hard the transmission makes a strange growling noise,its only under full accelreation and for only a few seconds any idea? could running heavier weight trans fluid fix this??

More detail would be nice.
How do know the noise is from the trans ? there are other parts of the driveline that can make similar noises under load
Have you run the car on jackstands ( very carefully ) so you can identify which area of the trans the noise is coming from?

I know it either coming from tail of Trans or front of driveshaft they are both new so im not sure why there is any noise but you can defintetly hear it there. My driveshaft is prefectly alligned and balanced so I doNT think its that any more ideas?
