my buddy just gave this to me for free , he pulled it out of a truck years ago and cant rember what it is , he is thinking nv3500.

can any of u guys identify it

that kind of sucks for free i was willing to throw it in the iroc behind the twin turbo motor instead of the th400

and for free if it blew up i didnt care , ill have to look up the ratio's for the nv3500 , any idea were the shifter location would end up?

 

found them id have to see if its w ide ratio or cr unit

I have been looking for one for ages for my truck and you got one that's not for a 4wd for free?

 

it needs to be cleaned out its been sitting in on of his sheds at the farm with the shift tower open , so its got alot of dirt and crud in it , so he couldnt exactly sell it

he has all the special tools needed to tear it down and reasemble so for free i figured it would be worth my time to clean it out and use it


im not sure what shipping would cost u put theres tons of trucks on the road and in junkyards in my area with the 3500 trans , its like everyone out here drives a manual chevy pickup out here, though the majority of them are 4x4
