The Auburn has lost it's grip. Time to toss it in the scrap metal pile and put in a new Eaton Posi or a Yukon Dura Grip.

Just snug the lug nuts while the car is in the air. Then once on the ground torque them in a star pattern to 100 ft/lbs. Don't forget to torque them, if you lower the car and don't torque them right away, place something, even the torque wrench, on the drivers seat as a reminder.

Or set the parking brake. Honestly, if it still spins both tires when you get on it then it's still fine. Many LSDs will allow the wheels to turn when you have the back end in the air and try to tighten the lug nuts.
The car hasn't run in ten years so that what makes me mad how something could go wrong just sitting I talked to Moser this morning an said a lsd both wheels turn in the same direction an open dif. one wheel goes one way an the other wheel goes the other way. that is what mine is doing also Strange Eng. they said the same thing it is suppose to do that. who do you believe. any input guys need help! Thanks

If the Auburn is worn out then the wheels will turn in opposite directions. If it's still tight then they will turn in the same direction. This is with the transmission in neutral. With the transmission in park you can turn the wheel hard enough to make almost any LSD turn the wheels in opposite directions.
