i installed a shift kit on my car and im having a problem with the shift points. the engine revs high and it wont shift unless i let go of the gas.. does anyone know what the problem can be? i did try adjusting the tv cable but that didnt do anything.. can someone help thanks

 

Did the shift kit install involve messing with the governor?

Was the transmission shifting OK before you installed this kit? Confirm the TV cable is attached at the VB end.

Did you install this kit in an attempt to fix something else?

 

Yes it was ok before the kit and I'm gonna let me car cool down a little and try to see if I can find the problem and hope I don't have to take it apart... It's 100 degrees in California
