L98/700R4 to T56 swap-HELP brake clutch pedal problems
1990 trans am L98 700R4 to T56
i have
4th gen pedals w gas pedal removed
1995 T56 w bellhousing etc. new clutch/flywheel/PP.
New 4th gen Hydrlics.
when i test mounted the new pedals with everything hooked up-
there is a radical difference in resting heights for the clutch and brake.
like 3-4" brake is very low. clutch pedal seems about right.
i think they should be even(or close)
i have read alot of threads on T56 swaps
but i see no mentions of pedal height differences...help....please.....thanks

If you think it will make the brake pedal higher, buzz your old one narrower and install it.
They make adjustable rod master cylinders (Ram, a stock-type IIRC; Tick and McLeod other versions)
