Quick question 700r4 to bw t5 flywheel
So i was reading thru some old posts on here. I was a little alarmed at what I read.
So I have a 1986 iroc with the lb9 and 700r4. I went out of my way to find an 1983 bw t5 swap. I didn't want the nonadjustable slave cylinder. I like to fine tune my clutch feel!
So I'm the kind of person who freaks if everything is not put into motion before a job begins.
The flywheel was trash off the 1983 z28 out by over .040 on one side
So I bought a flywheel from Napa #88131 with the 153 tooth count. In reading over I saw in a few post people making reference to the flywheels being diffrent from a 2 rms and a one piece.
What's the deal do I need to buy a flywheel for my 1986 305 tpi it has the rocker covers with the bolts on the edge rather than center.
I did notice the cranks shaft rear looks funny compaired to the one piece rms. I checked on summitracing and the flywheels comes up the same if I search 1986 z28 or 1983 z28. This is starting to bug?
I plan to rip the pos auto out tomorrow morning. I realy like having all needed parts in hand ready to go so I don't have to stop for s€Łt.

Here's this link. This should help people Id the flywheels and determine rear main style.
