not another megashifter question...
so im getting a megashifter and have been researching the installation on the site. i have a few questions...part#80692
do i NEED a relay from radioshack? ive read that i do and read that i dont.
when i hook up the nss and backup lights... (im not sure if i will get directions with this or not) i know the purple wire from the starter goes to the nss. which other wire goes to the other male prong on the nss? and which wires should i be hooking up to the reverse lights? i read something about dark blue?
Am i going to have a problem with lockup by installing this shifter?(i could be getting issues confused as i am converting from tpi to carb, and it could be a problem with that swap) i remember reading about the lockup being controlled by an orange wire w black tracer.
the rest of the shifter installation i have researched lot nd shouldnt have nay issue installing. thanks for any and all help. new to this camaro and thirdgen.org

if your going to a none lock up..its not needed.
if your keeping the lock up...do not cut your plug.. just use pin sets. and install the wires into you plug.. then do the install per B&M.

Re: not another megashifter question...
If I leave the trans without lock up... ive read that it will not phgsically hurt the trans and only cause fuel milage issues. Ive also read it burns out the 3-4 clutch packs. Can anyone who knows school me on that?
