Trans Fluid Smell
While driving the car I have to keep the windows up or else all I Smell is ATF inside. The transmission pan has a leak but could this really be the reason for the strong smell coming in?

What happened when you fixed the leak? Did the smell go away?

Zackly!!!
After you fix the leak, which of course you're about to fix anyway if you haven't already, you'll know whether it can smell.
Let us know what you found out in the morning when you've got it done.
I was just out there this morning; San Diego actually. Used to live in N SD county some time back. Now I'm back more toward the East Coast this evening.
