5 SPEED V 6 TRANSMISSIN TO V8 MOTOR
WE PUT A 5 SPEED V6 TRANSMISSION WITH A V8 302 MOTOR THERE WAS A BAD VIBRATION, WE THAN PUT IN A PILOT BEARING AND IT STILL HAD A SLIGHT VIBRATION, SINCE WE HAVE PUT LIKE 6000 MILES AND IT IS STARTING TO VIBRATE MORE, COULD WE NEED TO REPLACE THE PILOT BEARING?

I believe the input shaft is different from V6 to V8 cars...

65 Mustang with a 88 Lincoln 302 high performance with a small racing cam has a V6 transmisson that came out of a 89 turbo thunderbird, we change the pilot bearing, but it still had a slight vibration. We have put a little over 7000 miles on it. And it is starting to vibrate more, do you think it may need a new pilot bearing or could it be something else?
