Best Stall Converter & Rear End Gear Ratio for this Setup
Hey guys, looking for some advice on a drivetrain/rear end upgrade for a friend's 82 Trans Am. We're installing a 410hp 350 motor backed by a Turbo 350 transmission and Hawks 8.8 rear end assembly. Looking for advice on what stall converter for the trans, and what gear ratio for the rear end. This will be road driven a lot (not a ton of highway driving, just around town) and my friend is looking for good power from stand still and nice and crisp shift points. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

How much of a stall would you have to have to run this motor
Asked by RICHARD on May 28, 2018A: Richard, we recommend at least a 2,000-2,400RPM converter be used with this engine.
