Question on the 700R4 trans

Hi, I have a 1987 formula with the 305 engine and the Rochester cc carb. I would like to change to an EFI system. My question is, if i remove the carb with all the sensors that the ECM needs, what will happen to my transmission. I understand the ECM controls the lock out, is it using input from one of the carb sensors??

Thanks in advance for your input.

Louis

TCC lockup is mostly a function of throttle position (TPS), and vehicle speed. The new EFI system should be able to take care of lockup. If not look into a different EFI system.

The "TV" (?) valve will need to be addressed.
