Yes, but you can't mix and match the bellhousings. Also, it's been said that the V6 tranny is weaker than the V8 tranny.

did firebirds come with v8 trannys or just v6. I have a v6 tranny now but I don't think it is worth of me to put it in my car. can i use parts from one tranny to the another like the v6 to the v8. just got a prize on a tremec tranny 4800 dollars.

not sure about the internals. go to 5-speeds.com, they have a T5 forum. It might take a couple of days to get an answer, but they know their stuff. good luck.

as long as its from a V8 firebird tranny going to a v8 camaro, or a v6 firebird tranny going to a v6 camaro, it will work.

Do you have a URL for 5-speeds.com? Using that as the URL didn't work, and a Google search was not successful.

Thanks!
