One make sure there is oil in it, and at the proper level. To see if the pump is working, take off the top transmission line at the transmission and put in a quart size container and have some one start the vehicle for 2-3 seconds and see if there is oil coming out of the line. Most likely there will not be any oil coming out of the line. This is because the pump rotor is broke and there will be no oil coming out of the line. Mis-installation of the torque converter does this the vast majority of the time when a rotor is broke.

Do you have park? Is the rear end broke? Does the driveshaft turn when you put it in gear?

No the drive Shaft don’t turn I think I know what is wrong I think the torque converter is for 30
spine and the tranny input shaft is a 27 spline so I want know until I pull the tranny

Seen this a couple of times over the years. If the exhaust is not too loud, you might hear the sound of the input shaft teeth hitting the splines in the torque converter when in gear. Yes it might even feel like it is going into gear, and the rpms drop too, when put into gear.
