ZZ4 - LT1 / T56 Flywheel? Help!!
I have a 86Z28, I picked up a ZZ4 gm crate engine. And I have a 94Z28 M6 for a donor. I did research and get different answers. My question is will a 94 LT1 T56 Flywheel work on the ZZ4? I know they are both 1pcs Rear main seal. Just not sure if they’re compatible or not?

Thanks! Would a stock clutch be good 350-400hp and around 400tq? Or is there a option a step up or so from oem, that isn’t $800? I’d assume I’d want to get one that comes with a new pressure plate also? Thanks.

Given that the stock LT1 wasn't too far short of those numbers, I'd say it'll probably be OK.
A clutch IS a pressure plate. So, yeah. But it'll also come with a disc (usually), and the throwout bearing is sort of made into the clutch, so it'll have that too. All you'll need besides the clutch kit os a pilot bearing or bushing; and some kits even include one of those.
Just about every clutch on the market is a slightly (or not at all) modified Valeo. Not much difference among any of em these days until you REALLY bite off $$$hard$$$. Discs are a little different, with a choice of friction materials and such, however.

This may be a little late but as far as clutch options I bought/gambled on a Rock Auto $200 special M-PACT 04134ST15 multi-friction clutch for my pretty stout 383 6 speed combo. Not much drive time as of yet but feels about the same as my old Centerforce dual friction that was 3x’s as much. Good pedal feel, not too heavy, not light, and good Solid release without being too grippy for street driving.

I know this is an old thread, but how’s it working out so far? I went with a McLeod 500 and found an oem style pressure plate/throughout bearing , and I picked up a pilot bushing. Hopefully it works well.
This was on marketplace for $60. I just needed the pressure plate/bearing.
