T5 Clutch Pilot Bearing

Guys
Two different pilot bushings came with my Luk clutch kit. One will fit inside the small bore and the larger one will fit the larger bore. Is one better than the other. Can you install either one. I took the small one back out because it was not brass. I read a thread that bass is better. Sorry for the big pics couldn't make them smaller for some reason.

Re: T5 Clutch Pilot Bearing

Almost sounds like a situation where you could use one or both? I’m interested in hearing what others say

Re: T5 Clutch Pilot Bearing

It's easy to figure out. Just bolt the trans up without the clutch assembly on the engine and look in there to see how far the input shaft protrudes into the crank

Re: T5 Clutch Pilot Bearing

99.99999% odds it's the one that's the smaller OD.

Can't say I've ever even seen the big one.
