Manual shift kit

I was wondering what my car will drive like if i install a manual only shift kit into my 82 Z-28, with a th350 and 3.73 gears. I would also add a B&M Console Megashifter when i do this. Are the shifts really hard, like a large jolt or are they just firm. I was thinking of putting one in my car. This car is only street driven and stoplight racer.

Full manul auto's are no fun on the street. Trust me on this. It is not like a standard since you can't control the release of the clutch as with a standard. You also do not want a too hard of a shift or you will grenade the Intermediate Roller Race. For best durability and performance I would install a TransGo 350(C)-2 Reprgramming Kit (depending on whether it is L/U or not). This will give you enhanced manual control of the trnany but still retain the auto shifts when not needed. It will also give quick, firm shifts W/O breaking parts.
