Clutch hydraulics differences

I need a new clutch slave cylinder. I was looking through RockAuto and I noticed if I chose a 92 Camaro 3.1 l there was an entire kit already assembled. Will this fit and give me a proper throw for an 84 V8 T5? I can bleed the hydraulics but I thought this might be easier. I searched around and found it might be for a 4th generation but I'm not sure if it is I would have to modify the push rod.

Re: Clutch hydraulics differences

92 V8 hydraulics do work in an 84.
The clutch, ballstud, and bellhousing are the same. You may find small differences in pushed retention on the ballstud.

They list those through 1995 as the V6 kept a push clutch.

Nice kit!!! Let us know how it fits. I went the route of changing master/salve on my '91 Formula. Bleeding was easy really, did it on my own with my own house made procedure. The problem I see is trying to snake that reservoir behind the brake booster. I did assemble mine outside the car and bench bled it at first. However, I was incapable to install without removing the brake booster. Could not snake the reservoir back up.

I used LuK #LMC118 and #LSC110. You save a bit compare to the kit.
