T56 Swap hydraulics?

Hello,

Getting ready for my t56 swap. I gutted a 95 Formula 6speed for Alllll the parts.

Spohn X member and Keeping stock tq arm and driveshaft as well. I have an aluminum one too but I'm not sure if it's balanced.

Stock t5 in it right now. 86 Z28 305. Have an LT1 t56 with good flywheel and clutch so will just be reusing em (pretty sure it's a dual mass flywheel). 1 piece rear main as well.

My question is as follows.

I have the 3rd gen pedals in the car. I would like to keep em in, but have the 4ths if needed. For the master and slave I have both t5 and t56.

What combination should I run? 3rd gen pedals t56 master and slave would be my first guess but idk.

And does anyone know if the cheap ebay short throws work with our center consoles? I would like one but don't wanna cut up anything. If ebay short throws don't fit would a 4th gen specific short throw fit?

Also just gonna use a gps speedo, not even gonna bother with vss or a converter box.

Reuse 3rd gen pedals, and use 4th gen hydraulics (slave and master). Any 4th gen shifter will work. You'll need an aftermarket shifter if you want a bolt on shorter handle.

Sweet gonna order the shorty now , thanks for the info as well.

for the master I have right now on my t5 i noticed it had a bleeder built into it. But on the t56 one it don't, oddly enough.

Im prolly swapping to the t56 combo regardless but I am wondering if the t5 master would work with the t56 slave, just cuz its got the bleeder (and it's new &#128517

Re: T56 Swap hydraulics?

Buy the hawks hydraulic setup and start off happy. I tried stock hydraulics and hated the pedal height.

Buy the tick clutch speed bleeder. Makes it much easier to do.
