Better clutch than oem for T-56

Well after a TOB and countless burnouts and crazy shifting my clutch is showing signs of slipping every now and then. This is the one I bought from Rockauto, LUK 04134 (Daily Driver) RepSet® and it's held up pretty good but if I take off too quick or push the go pedal too much it starts to slip, have to let off a bit for it to catch. Wondering what you guys went with after your first clutch went out. Pretty sure I have more power than what I started with so just wondering what's a good performance clutch that will hold up to the to the torque monster 350 and wont break the bank too much.

How much power are you making? What rear gear are you running? How do you typically drive? Are you wanting to keep OEM hydraulics?

I've ran both a Macleod streetpro and a Centerforce DF. Both have been good. The DF was in there for nearly 20 years

I would say a healthy 300 maybe a tad bit more or less, planning on taking it to the dyno just to see how much it's really putting down just for laughs and to feel like a badass. 3.23 in the rear. Drive like a full time maniac, jk. I just drive it like a average joe but when nobodys around I ike to shift hard from 1- 3, Is there an upgrade for the Lt1 t56 oem hydraulics?

When I got the dual disk for my t56, I contacted the tech support at ram clutch. They were super helpful. They asked about HP/gears/vehicle wt and intended use. I think you have a bunch of options in your HP range. If you have any issues contact ram, they were really helpful.

Second for Mcleod, that's what I'm running and love it.

Any difference in feel compared to single disk?

Re: Better clutch than oem for T-56

I'm waiting for my drive shaft and I'll let you know! The pedal pressure is the exact same as the old setup but my old setup was a mechanical linkage (it's an 82). The setup I got is good to 750-800hp. I have a 450hp that I'm putting a super charger on this winter. If you're gonna stay near 300 hp a single disk is totally cool. The dual disks I've driven usually are still pretty smooth w organic facings. They are a little more grippy but, I'm fine w that.

The techs at ram were helpful deciding what clutch/flywheel to go with. I'm sure other companies are equally helpful.
