Ok how do I take this out?

SO I am new to these cars and SBC stuff and T5 transmissions. I am taking the motor and trans out. I got the trans out and now I need to remove the engine. How do I take the hydraulic stuff apart from the motor so I can remove it? The hydraulic setup has me lost.

What? Use the actual names of the parts. And/or actually open the factory service manual.

Re: Ok how do I take this out?

Sorry guys, I was so exhausted last night. I've never messed with anything other than a mechanical clutch cable operated clutch fork. With this having a hydraulic operated fork, I was a little lost on how it attaches. I watched a couple videos late last night and I think I see how it works.

It's real simple.

You don't.

Unbolt the 2 bolts that hold the master cyl to the bell housing, and tie-wrap it up out of the way off to the side. Leave it fully assembled, all lines hooked up, full of fluid, etc.

Re: Ok how do I take this out?

Ok I feel dumb. I crawled under the car and took the 2 bolts out and that was it. So, yesterday while working on the car, it rolled off the race ramps due to my error and pinned me. I was a little shaken up yesterday so I was not thinking clearly. I've never worked on a manual trans like this before so I am learning. Thanks y'all!
