T5 questions

Can anyone verify that this is a Camaro T5? Some guys in Facebook are saying the shifter on this looks like a Ford? The number on the sticker points to an 84 Camaro by my googling. Just want to make sure this is legit before I start prepping to do my swap. Could it be the shifter is just some non factory shifter?

And if it IS a Camaro T5, can I just order whatever shifter I want? Or do I need to get a stock one? I know nothing about these.

X2

Depending on what you're putting it in, you may want to verify that the gear ratios are what you want.

84 F-body, 2.95 1st, 0.73 5th.
Good choice for a SBC.

The F-body shifter for the T5 was closer to being a square than the Ford shifters.

The best Hurst is discontinued. I think they still have a Billet model that should be good. I also would consider Core Shifters, who favor Hurst designs.

And looking at yours, it's not a stock 84 shifter. If it's splined on one side (typically Hurst), that's good. Maybe it's able to be lubed or disassembled and lubed. Non splined sticks are lame.

You have a Camaro T5, but the shifter could be aftermarket, which is why it looks like a Ford one. You can order any compatible shifter for a Camaro T5, but keep in mind that some may require slight adjustments for proper fitment. I needed professional assignment help and turned to https://ukwritings.com/assignment-help ukwritings. The service was outstanding from start to finish. The assignment was well-written, thoroughly researched, and free from errors. The writer followed my instructions carefully, ensuring the final product met my expectations. The work was delivered on time, making the process stress-free. I’m extremely satisfied with their service and highly recommend it to students looking for reliable academic support.
I also think that.
