Willwood internal Park Brake Help
Not directly 3rd Gen related but I know rear end swappers like a challenge
Brother bought a truck fitted with Willwoods DynaPro 11" rotor combo that has the cable operated, internal mechanical park brake.
https://www.wilwood.com/BrakeKits/Br...emno=140-11387
Have all the parts but there appears to be no pivot point for the operating lever that passes through the backing plate to engage the shoes.
Each lever is side specific and has a dowel on one side only that would appear to need to fit into a hole in order for the lever to pivot.
Logical palace for the hole would be in the underside of the support block between the brake shoes but there is no hole there.
Any experiences with this setup ?
Are we looking at it upside down or are we dealing with a manufacturing fault in omitting to drill the hole?
Willwood tech seems as confused as we are .
Previous owner outsourced the 9" rear fitment so maybe that person had same problem as us and gave up ?
Much appreciated
